We're hiring an Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day functions of this lean, high-touch e-commerce business. This is a remote, independent contractor role ideal for someone seeking long-term stability with a mission-driven team.
You'll wear many hats — from managing orders and vendor coordination to handling customer support and leading process improvements. The role calls for someone proactive, organized, and relationship-focused.
Operations & Customer Experience
Manage daily order processing and coordinate shipping logistics with partners
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and vendors (via email, phone, and text)
Handle customer financing applications and payments in coordination with lending partners
Maintain accurate records: orders, invoices, inventory, and payment tracking
Liaise with the bookkeeping team as needed
Coordinate local delivery and installation services
Conduct monthly reviews of website functionality and operational performance
Strategic Support & Project Management
Monitor state sales tax nexus thresholds and assist with registrations/deregistrations
Conduct competitive research and pricing analysis
Support and improve customer retention initiatives and post-sale engagement
Lead operational improvement projects (e.g., email automation, workflow streamlining)
Assist in ad hoc operational tasks as they arise
Core Qualifications

Excellent verbal and written communication (English fluency required)

Preferred Experience
2+ years in operations, customer service, or administrative roles
Background in e-commerce or wellness/health industries a plus
Familiarity with QuickBooks, Google Workspace, and remote collaboration tools
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, or related field preferred
